Comma Coater Machine

Comma Coater M/C

Electrode film production machine that coats slurry onto release film (PET) with a comma knife and dries it with hot air.

A standard comma coating line with precision servo gap adjustment, a 3-zone hot-air chamber, clean booth and waste-heat recovery — built for stable mass production of high-quality electrode coatings.

Configuration

Configuration & detailed specifications

01

Unwinder Part

The controller reads tension sensor values and precisely adjusts tension with an AC servo motor.

02

Infeed Part

Suction Roll + Static Elimination

Transports film by air suction. The suction wrap angle achieves high tension without mesh or perforation marks, and a static eliminator bar removes static from the incoming film.

03

Coater Part

Back-up Roll + Comma Knife

The gap between back-up roll and comma knife is precisely adjusted by AC servo. Digital indicators allow 0.001 mm adjustments to compensate left/right thickness deviation.

04

Dry Chamber

3 Zone Hot Air Circulation

Electric sheath heaters with hot-air circulation. Optional exhaust waste-heat recovery saves energy. Nozzles combine counter-flow, touch-roll and slitter types.

05

Outfeed + CPC

The outfeed feeds film stably at constant tension, and the center position controller prevents lateral drift.

06

Rewinder Part

Winds at constant tension with rotation speed inversely proportional to the rewind setting and roll size.

07

Clean Booth + Safety Devices

Top-mounted HEPA / ULPA filters minimize particle contamination. Magnetic safety clamps block doors from being forced open during operation to prevent accidents.

08

Thickness Gauge

Real-time measurement data supports thickness deviation control, process optimization and cost reduction. Includes measurement data logging.
