MLCC Casting M/C

High-speed ceramic film casting line with turret auto-splicing for non-stop continuous casting at both ends.

High-speed ceramic film (green sheet) production equipment that coats ceramic slurry onto release film (PET) and dries it with hot air. Turret and auto-splicing functions on the unwinder and rewinder keep the line running continuously and stably without stopping.

Configuration

Configuration & detailed specifications

01

Turret Unwinder

Auto splicing changes bobbins without stopping. Left/right taper chucking with auto turret.

02

Infeed Part

Suction Roll + FFU + Static Elimination

The suction wrap angle achieves high tension, and an FFU (fan filter unit) supplies clean air. A static eliminator bar removes static from the incoming film.

03

Coater Part

Slot Die + Pump · Lead Roll Tilting · Web Cleaner

Off-roll die coating. Lead roll tilting is controlled by 4-axis servos to compensate left/right thickness deviation. A VUV (vacuum + ultrasonic + vacuum) USC dry cleaner removes fine particles.

USC head pressure15 ± 3 kPa
USC head vacuum-0.5 ± 0.3 kPa
Effective cleaning distanceMax 600 mm
Nozzle gapManual 1.5 – 2.0 mm (TBD)
04

Horizontal vs. Inclined Coating

Inclined coating is recommended for 10 or more chambers or when high tension is required — the larger suction roll wrap favors tension control. Horizontal coating is more stable with respect to slurry viscosity requirements.

05

Dry Chamber

8 Zone Hot Air Circulation

Electric sheath heaters with hot-air circulation. Nozzles combine counter-flow (#1–3), touch-roll (#4–5) and slitter (#6–8) types. Optional waste-heat recovery saves energy.

06

Outfeed · CPC · EPC

The CPC prevents lateral drift right after the dryer, and the EPC aligns the final winding with edge deviation within 1 mm. Integrated thickness/defect detector + label printer.

07

Turret Rewinder

Non-stop winding with auto splicing. EPC edge deviation within 1 mm.

08

Clean Booth + Safety Clamp

Double clean booth at the coater and a clean booth at the exit winder. Magnetic safety clamps block doors from being forced open during operation.

09

Thickness Gauge + Defect Detector

Detects pinholes, thickness and defects in real time during casting to ensure quality. Measurement data logging supports process optimization and cost reduction.
